Nilsen VIC approached us for a modular solution for a high-spec railway station in Melbourne CBD, emphasizing a "Plug and Play" system.

Our assignment was to craft a bespoke lighting and power solution, offering modular products for all light fittings on circuits using 2.5mm and 4mm Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable, also compatible with a 10mm fire-rated cable.

We adjusted our tooling for LSZH cable, implemented initial solutions using our Plug bases, and integrated LSZH soft-wired backbone leads in project areas. Specialized mounting brackets were designed and manufactured. We provided over 4500 lighting luminaire leads, 4500 T20 Plug bases, and 60km of LSZH cable for the project.

Our tailored solution yielded significant on-site labor savings, requiring minimal work with LSZH cable. On-site tool wear and tear were markedly reduced. We optimized the supply chain, delivering a turn-key solution for the project.
